Jialin Jin

Director of Externship Program

Jialin JIN holds a bachelor's degree in physics at Peking University and a Master degree in photonics at Fredrich-Schiller University of Jena. During his Ph.D. at Georg August Universität Göttingen, he focused on characterizing the SNARE protein amisyn and successfully described the behavioral and proteomic properties of amisyn-deficient animals. In his current Postdoc position at Yale School of Medicine, under Prof. Dr. Micheal Crair's guidance, he studies spontaneous retinal activity's role in optical neural circuit development and has contributed to the development of an in vivo retina imaging platform for observing awaken animal's spontaneous retina activity. Last year, Jialin worked as Career Fair Manager of YBC. He is currently one of the director of externship of YBC.
