Bowei Deng

Bowei is a second-year graduate student in the Department of Pharmacology at Yale. His study focuses on EGFR trafficking and its implications for cancer development. Before joining Yale, he achieved a dual B.S. degree in Chemistry and Neuroscience from Emory University. Passionately driven by the translational potential of basic research, Bowei is committed to bridging the gap between academia and venture creation by serving as the director of the VC series at YBC. In his spare time, he enjoys staying with his kittens, Boba and Cauli, planning his next travel, and finding his next read.
