Sara Ahmed

Sara Ahmed is a Senior Manager in Corporate Strategy and Portfolio Planning at a leading gene therapy start-up, where she drives portfolio execution and strategic planning across the full drug development lifecycle from early discovery, pre-clinical stage through to clinical Phase 1-3 development. She has extensive experience managing global clinical programs and leading cross-functional teams to advance high-impact therapies. At Yale, she has been exploring experiences to steer her career toward transformative transactions at the intersection of healthcare and life sciences, with a particular interest in private equity. She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Yale University School of Management with a focus on asset management and healthcare and is eager to apply those skills to complex, high-impact deals shaping the future of the industry.
