Jonmatthew Bilé is an educator, scientist, financial researcher, and a coder. He has worked on projects aimed at expanding the genetic code and engineering cells of the future. He is extremely interested in the role that artificial intelligence will play in the new and developing healthcare landscape. As a scientist he has worked with the pillars of the biochemistry field, such as Dr. Dieter Söll, who played a major role in discovering the genetic code and decoding the human genome. As a financier, he worked on one of the most successful healthcare investment teams in the world (Healthcare Associate Jefferies LLC), where he was able to understand trends of the socio-economic landscape of modern healthcare and technology and to develop investment theses based on this information. Jonmatthew, then returned to Yale University as a PhD researcher studying biochemistry, genetic engineering, and the intersection of these themes in the modern age. Currently, he is a lead editor of the Yale Journal of Health Policy, Law, and Ethics, the Director of Venture Capital of the Yale Biotech Club, and a DJ on campus.
