Georgio Maroun
Director of Job Trek
Georgio Maroun is an undergraduate at Yale University majoring in Molecular Biochemistry & Biophysics with a concentration in Global Health. He is deeply passionate about the intersection of healthcare innovation, clinical medicine, and health-systems design. At Yale, Georgio conducts research in the Chung Lab at the Yale Cardiovascular Research Center, where he studies the epigenetic and cellular mechanisms underlying thoracic aortic aneurysm pathogenesis. He has served as Vice President of Helix, Yale’s healthcare and biotech startup accelerator. He is currently the Vaccine Director at the HAVEN Free Clinic, overseeing vaccine operations for uninsured adults in New Haven. Georgio joined the board of the Yale Biotech Club this year, where he directs the Job Trek program connecting students with industry on-site visits and opportunities.
