The Yale Biotech Club is excited to announce its inaugural externship program with AtlasXomics! The YBC externship program aims to provide students a short-term, but fast-paced, opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experiences in different careers.
AtlasXomics is a New Haven-based life-science startup that uses a novel multi-omics discovery platform, discovered by Dr. Rong Fan’s lab at Yale, to aid researchers and clinicians gain better insight into biological systems.
Through workshops taught prior to the externship, students will learn how to understand annual reports, perform conjoint analysis, conduct customer surveys, and use social media to follow current market trends.
Students will analyze key industry and competitor trends in the single cell and spatial omics market, develop market insights, conduct surveys, engage with customers to identify emerging needs, and present findings during the course of the externship.
Participants who complete the externship may have the potential opportunity to join a long-term internship with AtlasXomics once the externship is completed.
Expected time commitment will be approximately 10 hours/week.
